Care Instructions

  • Remove the filter from the mask, and leave it in a clean, warm and dry place, prior to washing the mask

  • The face mask is washable at 40°C

  • The mask dries quickly, and the filter can be re-inserted once the mask is fully dry

  • The filter is reusable and will last 1 month with normal usage. Replacement filter inserts are available for purchase

  • If you suspect that the filter may have come into contact with pathogens, it can be left out for 72 hours in a clean, warm, and dry environment before reusing. However, please replace it if it has been soiled

  • The mask can also be ironed on a low heat and dry cleaned (without the filter)

How to Put on & Take off the Mask

How to put on the mask

 

  • Put the straps around the back of your ears

  • Pull the back of the straps to adjust their length for a close, comfortable fit

  • Place the mask as high as possible on your face, whilst ensuring it still sits just below the chin

  • Ensure there are no gaps between your face and the mask

  • Squeeze the metal nose clip to sit closely and comfortably across your nose

 

How to remove the mask

 

  • Pull the straps off your ears, without touching your face

  • Wash your hands

  • Store the mask is a clean place

  • If you suspect the mask has been exposed to a pathogen, store it in a bag until you can wash it

 

Always remove the filter before washing

Insterting the filter

  • Lay the mask on a horizontal surface

  • Hold the filter at the top, close to the metal nose clip

  • Put your fingers through one of the pockets, take ahold of the filter and pull it inside the mask

  • Align the centres (top and bottom) of the filter with the centres of the mask

  • Tuck in the edges under the side panel

  • Check the straps are the right length for you, or adjust them by pulling on the straps on either side of the adjuster

 

You are good to go!

Material Composition

The Mask

 

The mask is made from ECONYL® which regenerates problem plastics into yarn for fashion products. It performs exactly the same as brand new nylon and it can be recycled, recreated and remoulded again and again. It has UPF50+ protection against UV light, the highest possible rating for clothing.

Composition: 78% Recycled Polyamide, 22% Elastane

The Filter

 

Electrostatic non-woven 100% polypropylene fibre, which can block up to 95% of particles as small as 0.3 microns in size

  • Aluminium strip (10 cm)

  • 100 % cotton band

  • The filter is not washable, please remove the filter before washing the mask

 

The filter will last for 1 month, depending on usage

The filter material can be recycled. Please remove the cotton band from the filter material. Throw the cotton band in the general waste and the filter material in the recycle bin
